As many of you know I’ve been raving for a few months now, Alan Cumming is as fabulous as you would think. But he’s fabulous also in the sense of being politically fierce and the real deal about being politically engaged.
Today he and I played a hungover game of phone tag, before avoiding a massive crowd to meet at a side alley to head on over to the LGBT Caucus. We were walking downtown and getting stopped every few seconds by someone wanting to take a pic with him to blog about or whatever. So I felt left out and had us take a pic, after we’d walked ourselves into a sweaty state out in the heat. Boyfriend is wearing a full jumpsuit, yo! Impressive.
Seriously though, Alan comes up with some politically brilliant thoughts and is endlessly creative and committed to the progressive political cause. In case you’ve yet to see him wearing Obama shirts on the red carpet, or talking about the importance of the election in TV interviews, keep your eyes out, because he’s only going to be shaking support up more between now and election day.
