Hillary moves for Barack Obama to be nominated by acclamation.
And if you don’t think they went through all that mess of setting up a roll call vote just to have Hillary be the one who makes this request, you’re an idiot. This moment made me very happy to be a Democrat, and very smug because all of the talking heads who were talking about how Obama made some serious and unnecessary concessions by going ahead with a roll call vote were wrong. Hoorah!
I am so proud of the Democratic Party and the potential of our country tonight.
The best part was, “Is there a seconder?” and everyone goes nuts. HRC is a class act.
